Following in a father’s footsteps...

Dad was someone to look up to, no matter how tall I grew.

I can still hear my father’s words “Always deal from a position of strength Scot.” and at the end of every meaningful lesson and father-son-talk “Straight lines son, straight lines.” which meant integrity at all costs. These words were drilled into my head as a young boy. Little did I realize his words would come to provide the fundamental guidelines for my life and business.

Phil Jamieson was a skilled business man, master negotiator and his decorated career was filled with distinction. He became a fellow of The Real Estate Institute, won sales awards both regionally and nationally and was known to teach in various business classes at the University of Calgary.

After finishing my own studies at the University of Calgary, I was drawn to the excitement and opportunity of real estate as it came naturally through my father’s guidance and tenacity as well as my love for sports. Sports and competition have always seemed to parallel real estate in that bench marks could always be set and achieved, which is a key element to both my drive and success.

I’ve applied the same energy, lessons and tenacity as my father to both real estate education and sales achievement, winning many of the same sales awards and becoming a recognized and repeated member of the top producer CHBA awards in both new homes and condominiums throughout Calgary and Alberta. I’ve worked in a sales management capacity with many of Calgary’s top developers and have lead dynamic sales teams. I’ve also worked in many Mastermind focus groups, which are prototype groups where I offer leadership and guidance related to product type, sales pricing and land acquisitions.

Over the last 11 years here in Calgary, first working with Keller William’s Realty, which is the largest real estate brokerage firm in the United States and now Canada’s top real estate brokerage, Remax, I’ve continued to build on my father’s lessons cultivating ever stronger industry leading knowledge and skills in legal and regulatory issues, communication and consultation, advanced negotiation techniques and professional ethics; all with real world applications and benefits to you the client.
