RECYCLING YOUR CHRISTMAS TREES
In January, you can leave your Christmas tree out next to your black cart for pick up and recycling. They will be chipped into mulch for residents to use in the garden and yard, from the East Calgary Landfill. All you need to do is remove all decorations and any tinsel, plastic and string before placing your tree out for pick up. There are also temporary drop off locations available if you do not receive black cart pick up.
